Emily Styles a Turtleneck

Today I decided to make a more bold outfit with my plain jersey-knit turtleneck. Pairing my top with high waisted paisley shorts and purple tights created a very fun ensemble for the day. With a simple neutral turtleneck there is endless room for experimenting with different looks, colors, and styles. Fun tights are also a good way to transition shorts and skirts into the winter season, making them easily pairable with staple winter pieces such as the classic turtleneck.
There are so many different kinds of turtlenecks out there which allow for an infinite variety of ways to dress them up or down. They are great for layering and you can choose to keep the outfit simple or try something bold. No matter what you decide on, turtlenecks are a great key item every time winter rolls around.
