Brooklyn Walls

Today we ventured to Carroll Gardens, which is a neighborhood in Brooklyn. It has a beautiful small town setting with the cutest little shops and restaurants. And so many bright colored walls that we just had to take advantage of.
Jeans, a t-shirt, and jacket is such a classic and simple outfit, but we all decided to elevate it with our own style. Instead of a basic tee, Emily wore a lingerie-inspired tank top and paired it with her white leather jacket. Claire swapped out a regular jacket for a loose fitting black blazer, and wore a black and white striped t-shirt underneath. Lexie wore a more distressed pair of boyfriend jeans, and a blush colored cropped jacket. We all added shoes with some sort of heel not only to dress up our outfits, but also to balance out the masculine, slouchy styles of our jeans.
Another way we like to include an element of our individual styles is through our delicate personalized necklaces. Emily has one with an "e", Claire has one that says her full name, and Lexie has one in the shape of Connecticut. They are a fun and unique piece to add to any outfit.
