About the Bloggers

Emily Schindler
My name is Emily Schindler and I am the photographer for Skirts and Skylines.
I grew up in a small town in New Jersey and am currently living in New York at the Fashion Institute of Technology doing what I love.
I never leave home without my camera and if you'd like to see more of my work I frequently update my flickr account... flickr.com/photos/etschindler
Anyway, just to give you a quick summary about myself I have a love for photography, music, food and pugs.
I'm very excited about our blog so keep checking back for updates!

Just another Emily, originally from Ohio but now living in the big apple studying Fashion Merchandising Management at FIT. I now know New York City is exactly where I need to be to continue doing what I love.
My style seems to change with each day but I guess that keeps things interesting. I love listening to music, Broadway shows, shopping, and exploring the city.
Hope you all enjoy your one stop for three different styles put into one blog!

Hey y'all, if you haven't guessed it already I'm a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, livin' the dream in New York City studying Textile Development and Marketing. I'm originally from a town in Maryland only a short metro ride from D.C., but I've made the City my home.
There isn't one way to categorize my style, it all depends where I'm going, what I'm doing, and how I feel! My favorite part about living in New York is that I can freely experiment with my clothes, not to mention the variety of places to shop! My style inspiration is Blair Eadie from Atlantic-Pacific. I also love trying new restaurants, am addicted to tea, and believe a cappuccino tastes better with foam art.

But, I go by Lexie (yes with an "e" at the end). I was born and raised in Connecticut, but New York City is my spirit animal. I decided, without hesitation, to attend FIT to study Fashion Merchandising Management.
I love to read by the Hudson, eat coffee ice cream, and obsess over Mad Men. My closet is filled with dresses, I wear my diamond studs almost every day, and mascara is my number 1 makeup essential. My style inspiration would have to be blogger Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam.
I'm so excited to be able to share my style with you all!
