Emily's Winter Go To

5:18 PM

One way to stay chic and warm this winter is by monochrome layering. This allows for fun mixing of textures and patterns. Grey has been a very popular color when doing this because of its clean finish. When putting a monochrome outfit together you shouldn't worry about shades being too close or not close enough.
A layering turtleneck is a great base, but is also cute just by itself. The fair-isle, boyfriend blazer adds a fun touch of winter while adding an extra layer of warmth--if necessary. My grey corduroys bring a new texture to my look, giving it some dimension. To finish of my head-to-toe grey, my booties did just that!
Monochrome makes for an easy go-to when selecting what to wear this winter and anyone can pull it off! Grey looks good for these colder months but you can use whatever color you have the most of. The best way to know if it will work is to try it on, so don't be hesitant to try it out!
