New Year's is one of the more fun holidays, where you finally get some use out of those dressier pieces in your closet. With the mild winter we've been having on the east coast, we're mostly excited that we get to show our legs without tights!
This New Year's we each wanted something fun and unique in our outfits without being flashy. Lexie chose a more simple black dress with faux-leather details, but added a neon pump to still make a statement. Emily dressed up her blue dress by adding long, silver statement earrings, complimented by a high ponytail. If you want to go the silver route this holiday, royal blue is a great color to pair with your accessories. Claire also chose an all black outfit, but to be more festive chose a sweater with an embellished collar to go under her black overalls. Patent shoes are always an easy way to add shine to your outfit if you aren't into glitter or bright colors.
While we decided to be more simple with our outfits this year, we encourage everyone to be adventurous when it comes to New Year's Eve celebrations, whether it's with a shoe, earrings, or a sequined dress that you love! It's the one day of the year you can probably get away with it.
