Lexie's Favorite Spot: The Hudson

My favorite place in New York is definitely the piers along the Hudson River. The Hudson is only a 15 minute walk from our school so I go and sit there as often as I can. I usually bring a book to read and a snack and just relax along the water. Or sometimes I throw on my sneakers and go for a run because the running/biking paths next to the river are really great! It's also nice because you can see the Freedom Tower, the Empire State Building, and even a tiny Statue of Liberty from most spots.
People say that NYC is always loud, fast-paced, and over-crowded, but it's not anything like that at the Hudson. Its easy to relax and unwind down there, and that's why I love it!
